Comprehensive Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon David Ryser, M.D. earned his Medical Degree at Indiana University School of Medicine followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University School of Medicine as well. Dr. Ryser provides cataract surgery & lens implants (IOL) for vision correction, including astigmatism and near vision presbyopia correcting lens implants to help patients minimize or eliminate the need for eyeglasses, bifocals or reading glasses after cataract surgery. At Northwest Indiana Eye & Laser Center Dr. Ryser provides eye exams, consultation and medical & injection treatment for eye diseases including diabetic retinopathy and diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration (AMD), and glaucoma.
Dr. Ryser is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology and Indiana State Medical Association.
